Diagnodent is a diagnostic laser that measures the density of the enamel, thus allowing difficult to detect cavities to be found earlier. This enables Dr. Appel to fill a cavity when it is smaller, causing less disruption to the tooth and leaving you with a much stronger tooth as a result.
